New England Patriots center Ted Karras is believed to have suffered an MCL sprain during last night’s loss to the Houston Texans. He’ll have an MRI today to confirm the diagnosis but the hope is that it’s an injury he can return from this season.
Karras began the year in practice as the Pats’ left guard but injuries forced him to center and into more of an anchor on the team’s offensive line. While he’s played in 57 games for the Patriots over the last four years, he’s only had five starts before 2019.
It does not look like Karras will be ready to play in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
