The Patriots have signed kicker Kai Forbath to replace Nick Folk. He will serve as the team’s place kicker on Sunday against the Texans.
Forbath kicked three games for the Jaguars last season. In 2017, he served as the full-time place kicker for the Vikings.
Folk will miss Week 13 due to an emergency laparoscopic appendectomy. He’s only expected to be out the one game so Forbath’s tenure could be short.
