Patriots Sign QB Cody Kessler

As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the New England Patriots have signed free-agent QB Cody Kessler to add to their QB depth.

Cody Kessler, a former Browns, Jaguars, and Eagles, was drafted by the Browns in 2016 with the 93rd overall pick (3rd round). He actually started multiple games for Cleveland, but his career in north-east Ohio was cut short due to multiple concussions in a single season. Kessler also started a few games for the Jaguars during the Blake Bortles era. It looks like now he will be the new back-up for GOAT QB Tom Brady.
