Patriots WR Antonio Brown On Track To Make Patriots Debut Sunday

by

Patriots WR Antonio Brown is making the trip to Miami and is expected to play in Week 2 on Sunday against the Dolphins, reports Ian Rapoport.

The game will be Brown’s 2019 debut and debut for the New England Patriots. Following a tumultuous offseason with the Raiders that resulted in his release, Brown signed with the Patriots and has been accused to sexual assault by his former trainer.

As the NFL looks to gather more information on the Brown accusations, he obviously won’t end up on the commissioner’s exempt list this week. That could, however, change when his accuser, Britney Taylor, meets with the NFL next week.

Last week, the Patriots signed Brown to a one-year contract worth up to $15-million with a $9-million signing bonus. There is a $20-million option for 2020.
