Redskins TE Reed Out, Rams DT Donald To Play, Pats To Void Brown’s Signing Bonus

by

– Redskins TE Jordan Reed remains in the league’s concussion protocol and has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Bears, reports Adam Caplan. He’s yet to play this season after suffering yet another concussion in the preseason.

– Rams DT Aaron Donald, who is working through a back injury, will play in Week 3 against the Browns, according to head coach Sean McVay via ESPN. He has not practiced much this week as a result of the injury.

– Free agent WR Antonio Brown is unlikely to collect any of his $9 million signing bonus from the Patriots, reports ESPN Boston. New England’s plan is to use the “representation warranty clause,” that would void the bonus. While the player’s association could always file a grievance, Brown may only end up his $1 million in salary, two game checks of $125,000 and a $33,333 roster bonus.
