Saints Lose Andrus Peat To Broken Arm, To Miss Six Weeks

by

Saints guard Andrus Peat has a broken arm and underwent surgery on Wednesday. He’s expected to miss six weeks.

He suffered the injury during the team’s Week 10 game against the Falcons.

Peat, 26, was drafted in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft and is currently playing out his fifth-year option. He’s set to become a free agent after the season.

The Saints are 7-2 but are coming off a disappointing loss against the Falcons. Will Clapp is expected to start at left guard while Peat is out.
