Veteran Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee is unsure if he wants to play next season.
“If I do want to play again, you want to be a part of the entire offseason, which really kind of starts mid-March for me,” Lee said h/t Dallas Morning News. “And so that’s probably when I would make a decision.”
Lee considered retirement last offseason but returned and is slated to play in all 16 games this season, which would be the first time he has done so in his career. His contract is up at the end of the season.
While Lee has been plagued with injuries throughout his career, he has been very effective when on the field. Off the field he’s served as a valuable piece for the Cowboys almost as a player-coach given his ability to read offense out of sets.
