The San Francisco 49ers have cut ties with WR Jordan Matthews, as reported by Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.
Matthews, 27, was drafted out of Vanderbilt in 2014 by the Eagles with the 42nd pick (2nd round). After spending a couple of years with the Eagles, Matthews moved around the NFL by playing for three other teams: Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and San Francisco 49ers. During his time in the league, Matthews ranked more than 3000 receiving-yeards and 22 TDs.
