Clowney Trade Details

We reported here this morning that Jadeveon Clowney is a Seattle Seahawk. Thanks to Ian Rapoport the details are now known.

Seattle is only giving up a third round pick and linebackers Barkevious Mingo and Jacob Martin. Neither Mingo nor Martin are impact players so them along with the third round pick is an absolute steal to obtain former first overall pick Clowney.

We’ve been following this story since the beginning and reported Houston’s dream situation was with Miami for Laremy Tunsil. Clowney held all the cards in this negotiation and ended up going to his desired location Seattle.

Clowney will join Bobby Wagner, K.J. Wright, Jarran Reed, L.J. Collier, and Ziggy Ansah to for one of the scariest defensive fronts in football.
