Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is likely to receive his contract extension sometime after the 2020 NFL Draft, according to Tom Pelissero.
Mahomes is expected to become the highest-paid player in football, a title that currently belongs to Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who earns $35 million per year.
Mahomes’ contract could be impacted by the new collective bargaining agreement, which is expected to take hold this offseason.
