Rams RB Todd Gurley may not play on Sunday due to a quadriceps injury, reports Ian Rapoport.
The star running back did not practice on Wednesday and his status is “up in the air” for Week 6 against the 49ers.
Gurley suffered the injury last Thursday night in the Rams’ loss to the Seahawks. At the time, the team believed it was a minor setback but the injury is still bothering him. Malcolm Brown would likely serve as Los Angeles’ lead back should Gurley not play.
So far this season Gurley has rushed for 270 yards and five touchdowns.
