The feud between Trent Williams and the Washington Redskins has taken another turn. We reported (here and here) earlier a detailed report on Williams health and why he lost trust with the Redskins staff.
After concluding Williams will never suit up for the Redskins again, they have placed him on the NFI (non football injury) list and will withhold remaining balance of this season’s pay.
Washington has the right to withhold Williams’ salary but due to the sensitive situation regarding his health it was unknown if they would do it.
Since our initial report Washington has requested a third party review of Williams medical record with the below statement, in hopes of showing they

The Redskins have been accused of smearing Williams name and credibility which lead to this statement from the NFLPA.

In our multiple conversations with Trent and his agent, we have considered various options based on the facts, but we also understand that Trent wants to put this all behind him, not relive a painful experience when his life was (1/3)
