In one of the biggest stories from the weekend, potential first round draft pick Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa went down with a serious hip injury. He’s out for the rest of the season.
There has been some concern the injury could be career-threatening or career-altering. Alabama had their team surgeon releases a statement, which you can read below:

Tagovailoa was expected to be an early first round pick in next year’s NFL draft and his injury will likely have a huge effect on the entire class. He can either choose to enter the draft and take a hit in his draft stock or return to Alabama for his senior season.
In fact, Matt Miller believes it would be a complete shock or even a mistake should he opt to enter the draft at this point:
The opposite. It would be a complete shock if he decided to enter the 2020 draft. I’d even call it a mistake at this point. So we’ll table it and talk about it once he’s healthy. https://t.co/ZEsjem65em
