Panthers QB Cam Newton Not Practicing After Aggravating Foot Injury

Panthers QB Cam Newton aggravated his foot injury and his status for Week 3 against the Cardinals is up in the air, reports Tom Pelissero.

Cam is rehabbing his foot while his teammates practice on Tuesday. Head coach Ron Rivera is scheduled to address the media later.

It’s the left foot Newton originally injured in the preseason. If he can’t go on Sunday, the Panthers will start either Kyle Allen or rookie Will Grier.

Stay tuned to later today and throughout the week as we track Newton’s status heading into kickoff.
